Jason Holt is adamant that Ryan Jack has all the attributes to be future Rangers captain. Jack arrived at Ibrox in the summer of 2017 when Pedro Caixinha snapped him up on a free transfer from Aberdeen.
And teammate Holt, who has been on loan with St Johnstone this season, knew from playing against the combative Scotland international that he could be a success in Govan.
Speaking to Herald, he said: “I always expected Ryan Jack to be a success. Before he signed for Rangers I had played against him when he was at Aberdeen and I thought he was a top player. “When he came to Ibrox you could see straight away the qualities that he had and I think he is a real winner.
