Dancing On Ice star Jason Donovan has revealed he won't be pushed into heavy-lifting on this year's series for the sake of good TV.

The former Neighbours star, 52, says he won't let show bosses encourage him to perform dangerous lifts as it could spur on an injury, which he is worried will derail any upcoming paid work opportunitites.

Aussie star Jason revealed he faced a hard year in 2020 and doesn't want his huge Dancing On Ice stint to land him in hospital, as it will stop him from raking in big bucks.

He told OK! magazine : "My wife is worried about me getting injured, and so am I. "If you've had a year like 2020 and you haven't really been earning and everything shifts to 2021 and you suddenly find yourself in A&E with a broken arm
