Jason Derulo wants to film his next music video at the 'big Tesco in Salford'

Throughout the history of the music video, popular tourist spots, beaches and historical buildings have all been used as set pieces for big superstar songs.

But there’s never been one filmed at a Tesco in Greater Manchester - not yet, at least. And it could be music legend Jason Derulo who gets to be the first global icon to tick that box if he gets his way.

Appearing on Capital UK radio this morning, the singer, known for hits like Whatcha Say and Savage Love, went on a history lesson of some of the country’s biggest landmarks.

Being asked his thoughts on a number of UK locations by Capital Breakfast hosts Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby, Jason, who is from Miami, was shown photos of the likes of Beaconsfield service station and Turf Moor in Burnley as part of a HR-themed Popstar Appraisal segment.
