Jason Aldean's publicity firm parts ways with him after his wife Brittany's transphobic comments

Jason Aldean has split from his Nashville-based publicity firm, The GreenRoom, who represented the top-selling country music star for nearly two decades.

After 17 years of working with the musical powerhouse on ten different albums, the  multi-platinum entertainer, 45, will no longer be working with the top PR firm.

The separation comes after his wife Brittany Layne Kerr sparked backlash for using allegedly transphobic language in a controversial Instagram video last Thursday.

'Music has always been and remains The GreenRoom’s core focus, so we had to make the difficult decision after 17 years to step away from representing Jason,' Parrish told the outlet.He continued: 'We aren’t the best people for the gig anymore, but will always be big fans of his music — he is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music.'
