Jared Padalecki Teases ‘Supernatural’ Reunion With Jensen Ackles In ‘The Boys’ Final Season: “It’s F***ing Terrifying For Me”

Jared Padalecki is teasing his on-screen reunion with his former Supernatural co-stars on the final season of The Boys. Padalecki will join The Boys’ Jensen Ackles and fellow Supernatural alum Misha Collins on Season 5 of the Prime Video series. “I don’t know a whole lot about it, which is effing terrifying,” Padalecki told Business Insider during the 2025 Texas Film Awards.

Padalecki confirmed he will share the screen with Ackles and added, “I don’t know what we’re doing. I don’t know if we like, bump into each other.

I don’t know much about it. They’re still trying to write and figure out who’s gonna be there. But it’ll be the end of this month.” Supernatural premiered on The WB in 2005 and crossed over to The CW the following year.

The series created by Eric Kripke ran for 15 seasons and ended its run in 2020. The link between Supernatural and The Boys is Kripke who developed the superhero series for Prime Video.
