Jared Leto almost fell to his death after mountain climbing safety rope was cut

Jared Leto almost died while climbing a mountain after his safety rope was suddenly cut. The Blade Runner 2049 star admitted he was ‘dangling some 600 ft’ when the rope was sliced at Red Rock in Nevada.

He shared a snap of himself mid-climb along with a picture of his cut rope onto Twitter. He wrote: ‘Not to sound dramatic, but this is the day I nearly died.

Took a pretty good fall climbing with @AlexHonnold at Red Rock. ‘Looked up and within seconds the rope was being cut by the rock while I dangled some 600 ft in the air.

I remember looking down at the ground below.’ The actor also posted a clip of himself yelling out ‘holy f**king shit’ as he demonstrated where the rope was strained.
