Janey Godley shares one year comparison photos and says she's 'getting stronger'

Janey Godley has shared some comparison photos on her Twitter to show the difference of a year. The Scots comedian took to her social media to share two selfies of herself, one being before she was diagnosed with cancer.

In the first picture, Janey can be seen smiling with her long curly hair, wearing a pair of sunglasses. And in the second picture, the 61-year-old can be seen lying in bed with her head shaved - a decision she decided to make after being told she had cervical cancer.

Back in December, Janey found out that she had cancer after experiencing some symptoms of bloating and frequent urination. This means there are cancer growths 2cm or smaller in size on the lining of the abdomen and there may also be cancer in the lymph nodes.Janey underwent six rounds chemotherapy and is waiting to hear back the results.After sharing the photos, Janey told her followers that she is getting stronger again and many flocked to the comments to share their support.One wrote: "It grows back!
