The reigning champions had been linked with a move for the England captain all summer. But with Spurs standing firm in their decision to keep hold of Kane unless they received £150million, the striker revealed that he would be staying with the north London outfit this summer in a tweet on Wednesday.
That means City have less than a week to find an alternative striker option and Sky Sports pundit Redknapp believes that the title race could now be wide open because of Kane's decision.
