Jamie Redknapp has shared the sweetest throwback picture with his dad Harry 's 73rd birthday. The football star, 46, shared a series of pictures with his "hero" dad as he wished him "the best day".

Sharing the pictures with his 1.2 million followers, Jamie wrote, "Happy birthday dad. I am so proud of you. You’re my hero have the best day," alongside a heart emoji.

The first picture shows the father-son duo posing for a pic, which sees young Jamie kneeling alongside his young dad in the black and white snap.

The following snap shows the pair joking around on the pitch together, whilethe other two photos shows the Redknapp men (and boys) smile for the camera.
