Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant chain collapsed 'owing nearly £83 million'

The Jamie Oliver Italian restaurant chain collapsed with a reported debt of nearly £83 million. The chain belonging to the iconic British chef, 45, is said to have also owed money to 288 companies when it collapsed.

According to The Sun, Jamie's Italian even owed £90 to window cleaners, £2,461 to a lightbulb company, and a £26 brown paper bag company.

A manager at Manchester Window Cleaner told the paper: "On the day we were there it was obvious something was going on. "But they let us clean the windows when they knew it was shutting the next day." He even added: "I don’t wish any harm on Jamie but there seemed a lack of mourning on his part."
