Jamie Lee Curtis has said she is incredibly “humble” after winning her first Emmy Award for The Bear. The star took home the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series award at last night’s (September 8) Creative Arts Emmys for her role as Donna Berzatto in the FX show.Speaking after her win, the star said: “I’m the luckiest girl in the world.

I’m 65.”She went on to joke: “I sold yoghurt that makes you shit for seven years, and I just never thought in my life that I would get to do work at this level, depth and complexity and intelligence.“It’s just been the thrill of my creative life these last couple years that I get these opportunities, so I’m humble and incredibly grateful.”The Emmy win also means she is now halfway to EGOT status – a small club of people who have won all four major arts awards – Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.Addressing the possibility of achieving the milestone, Curtis joked that she can’t “sing at all and I’ve never been on stage”, adding: “I’ve never done a play, and I don’t stay up that late.”She added: “I’m just not sure I would do so well in the theatre, since you go to bed so late.
