Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo are busy planning their wedding after getting engaged in December 2021, and it's fair to say it's been hard to find the perfect venue for their nuptials.

Now, speaking on their podcast The Nearlyweds, Candy Kittens founder Jamie, 33, and MIC star Sophie, 28, have told their listeners they are hoping to fly out to Malaga in Spain to decide on their wedding location after saying no to the "dream venue".The revelation comes after Jamie reminded listeners of Sophie "promising" she would have found a date as well as a venue by now. "I'm being such a good bride and I'm taking it on the chin that my dream venue can't - for many reasons - be accessible," Jamie's fiancée Sophie confessed.

Jamie then replied: "One reason - it costs half a million," before Sophie added: "Yeah, but I wanted it there!" The TV star explained to their fans: "Honestly, it cost so much money, and they said the only way they could do it is if we brought the guests out, the guest list was going to be about 50 people!" Sophie loved the venue so much, that she tried to convince herself that they could have made it work. "The only way we could do it is if we ate off plastic plates. There were no chairs either," she said. "We were just paying for the venue alone.

I was like, 'We could...' But we decided not to." Jamie continued: "The venue didn't even come with tablecloths! Sophie was so in love with this venue," before his fiancee shared: "We could have made it work." The Strictly star then gave his fans some insight into their wedding as he asked Sophie: "Where am I going to put my dodgems?" before the Chelsea star shut his request down.
