Jamie Carragher reckons John Terry isn't given enough credit from football fans despite his trophy-laden career. The Chelsea legend helped the Blues to five Premier League titles and FA Cups, as well as the Champions League and Europa League during his 17 years at Stamford Bridge.

Carragher played with Terry for England and the Liverpool hero-turned-pundit insists his ex-teammate was up there with the very best. “John Terry was basically a better version of me,” he said while speaking to Sky Sports. “He was bigger, more powerful, better quality on the ball as well.

He was one who when you trained with him went up a level in your eyes. You knew he was a great player. “Technically, he’s a lot better than he’s given credit for.
