James Tavernier has urged his team-mates to remain focused on the job in hand and not let the win against Celtic go to their heads.
The Ibrox skipper has been part of Rangers teams in the last two seasons that beat Celtic and then failed to capitalise on it in the following weeks.
And he's followed the lead of manager Steven Gerrard who urged his squad to remain 'humble' following the 2-0 win. Tavernier was in fine form as he led his side to success at Celtic Park, but it's silverware at the end of the season he wants and he insists that's where all the focus needs to be.
He said: “We need to be consistent this year and we can’t afford to have any speedbumps in the way."We are learning our lessons from previous seasons.
