James Mtume - who was a Grammy Award-winning musician and songwriter - has died at 76.The cause of death remains unknown for the frontman of R&B group Mtume but the news was confirmed by his son Faulu Mtume to Pitchfork on Sunday.The talented musician frequently collaborated with Reggie Lucas as together they won Best R&B song for writing and producing top-ten hit Never Knew Love Like This Before for fellow R&B artist Stephanie Mills in 1981.Reggie's daughter Lisa Lucas also shared the sad news on Twitter Sunday as she paid tribute to her father's bandmate whom she called an 'honorary uncle'.
