James Morrison has been left devasted at the loss of his wife Gill Catchpole, after she was found dead at the family home on Friday, January 5.
The singer, 39, is reportedly "holding it together" for his two daughters, whom he had shared with Gill, following the tragic loss.
James is yet to comment on the heartbreaking news but has postponed all of his upcoming work commitments as he spends time with his family.
Sharing the sad news, a source told The Sun: "He is holding it together for their girls but has asked for the family to be left alone to grieve in private." A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police has since said the death is not being treated as suspicious.They shared: "Police were called to Whitminster in Gloucester at around 9.10am on Friday (5 January) following concerns for the welfare of a resident. "Officers attended and the body of a woman in her 40s was found within an address.The death is being treated as non-suspicious at this time.The coroner and woman's next of kin have been informed." In the months before her death Gill had spoken about experiencing "ups and downs" after undergoing a kidney transplant.
