James Maddison backed for Manchester United transfer by former manager

Manchester United transfer target James Maddison has been backed to move to Old Trafford this summer by one of his former managers.

United are looking to add a new attacking option to their squad when the transfer market reopens with Maddison currently on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's radar.

Maddison has shone at Leicester this season with nine goals and three assists, but his form is of no surprise to Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes.
