James Jordan has revealed that his dad has died as he paid tribute to his "hero" in a heartbreaking post on social media. The former Strictly Come Dancing star's dad Allan was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 2020 after suffering from a series of strokes.

Last night, James shared his sorrow at watching his dad struggle and prayed to God that he would become an angel soon. Tweeting an update this morning, James wrote: "My dad became an angel at 8.05am.

I will forever miss him. My dad will always be my HERO. RIP Daddy." James' followers were quick to share their condolences, with one responding: "So sorry your dad passed on James.
