James Corden has teased fans of Gavin & Stacey by stating co-writer Ruth Jones will "know when it's right" to bring the popular BBC sitcom back.
The host of The Late Late Show, 43, added that the writing duo would figure out the timing together - "if that ever happens".
In 2019, the show returned for a Christmas special with the episode ending on a cliffhanger with Ruth's, 55, character, Nessa Jenkins, dropping to one knee to propose to James', Smithy.The comeback special won the Impact Award at the 2020 National Television Awards.
Speaking to Vernon Kay on BBC Radio 2, James hinted at a return of the Bafta-winning TV comedy, which ran for three seasons from 2007 to 2010.
