Jake Quickenden has spoken out on the return of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! as he admitted he doesn't think a second edition of the popular show was "needed".The Dancing On Ice star took part on the ITV reality series in 2014, and was a popular campmate during his instalment.
Fresh out of his stint on X Factor, Jake was in the early days of his showbiz career. As he admitted to being "disappointed" that ITV bosses didn't ask him to take part in All Stars, which includes the likes of Paul Burrell, Amir Khan and Carol Vorderman, Jake shared his thoughts on the return.
Speaking to Betway about the series, which was secretly filmed in South Africa last September, the dad-of-two said: "I don’t think it was [needed], but it’s cool that it’s here." The singer then praised the new line-up, but joked that it would have been even "better" if he was also on the show. “You never know, they might be do a few more All Stars and I’d love to get involved," he said.
Jake previously shared similar sentiments during an interview with Daily Star. "I was thinking where the freak is my invite?" the star laughed. "Do you know what I mean!
