Jak Knight, who starred in the Peacock series Bust Down, has passed away at the young age of 28. The actor and writer’s family confirmed to THR that he died on Thursday night (July 14) in Los Angeles. “Knight’s loved ones ask that their privacy please be respected during this extremely difficult time,” a rep said in a statement.

The show, which debuted in March, followed a group of friends working low-wage jobs at a casino in Gary, Indiana. You might also know Jak from his work on the Netflix series Big Mouth.
In addition to being a writer on the show, he voiced the role of DeVon, Devin’s ex-husband and a popular student who suffered from childhood arthritis.
