Jade Thirlwall has shared the depth of her heartbreak after Jesy Nelson's departure from Little Mix. Jesy left the band in December 2020 after a nine-year run and went on to pursue a solo career.
Following the announcement, Jade, along with Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards, carried on as a trio for another year before taking a break.
Jade, now 32, confessed she's "still getting over" that "stressful time". Speaking on The Louis Theroux podcast, the 'It Girl' singer opened up about how tough Jesy's sudden exit was, especially since they didn't have a group discussion about it.
She explained: "I think that's why I struggled with it because we didn't all get a chance to just sit together, like we've done so for so many years, to just hash it out." She described the period as hazy and traumatic for all four members.
