Jake bid farewell to EastEnders after 15 years playing the iconic role of Max Branning on Friday, 19 January.The 48-year-old actor left Albert Square in an emotional farewell, after deciding not to take little granddaughter Abi with him and leaving her with Rainie and Stuart instead.The soap’s iconic theme tune played out as a crying Max made his last appearance on the BBC soap.
