While many celebs are drawn to extreme diets or the latest weight-loss injections, EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa has found a much simpler way to slim down.
She revealed that ditching one bad habit was enough to help her drop two dress sizes. "I had stopped going to the gym," she confessed to The Sun's Fabulous Magazine, attributing part of this to motherhood and the early years of raising children.
But now, with her kids in school and routines changing, things are different. Jacqueline admitted that her hectic home life led her to snack more, which contributed to some unwanted weight gain. "When I wasn't working," she explains, "it just became a habit to meet my friends for lunch and it turned into a bigger thing." She also found herself picking at her kids' leftovers, not considering it a meal until she realised how much it added up to when combined on one plate, especially when she would have her own dinner afterwards, reports Surrey Live.
The key change for Jacqueline was cutting out the leftovers, which she says has made all the difference. Now, any uneaten food goes to the family dog instead. "I feel like I'm the best version of myself today," she says.
