Jacob Pritchard Webb reaches key milestone in rehab from fall which left him paralysed

Using all of the determination which saw him quit the UK for a career overseas, Jacob Pritchard Webb has reached a key milestone in his recovery from injury.

Approaching the two month mark since his devastating fall at Auteuil, the former jockey left hospital for the first time this week.

The 23-year-old, battling serious neck and spinal injuries which caused paralysis from the waist down, went on a day trip with his parents Matt and Kelly.
