Jackie Weaver claims men in viral Zoom meeting didn't like being told 'no' by a woman

The viral star of the now infamous Handforth Parish Council Zoom meeting has claimed some councillors' aggression was because they "didn't like being told no by a woman".

Jackie Weaver, who has become a household name since the foul-tempered planning meeting was shared on social media last week, told LBC it felt good to stand up for herself.

She claimed that several of the councillors who told her she had "no authority" to moderate the fiery video conference were "absolutely out of order".
