Former Love Island contestant Jack Fincham has shared a candid insight into his battle with addiction to drugs, alcohol, and gambling, detailing an incident where he experienced a drug withdrawal-induced "psychosis" which led to him being detained by authorities.
The reality TV celebrity, aged 33, also faced a recent sentencing to six weeks in prison after his Cane Corso attacked two people, leaving one injured.Moreover, Jack disclosed that he was apprehended by police following the theft of a neighbour's tricycle during a psychotic episode.In an interview with The Sun, Jack confessed he stopped using the anti-anxiety medication Xanax post-rehab but slid back into old habits when he stumbled upon a hidden packet.
Resorting to the drug again, he even attempted to purchase more online."My face changed, I was grey, my brain was half asleep and half awake," Jack explained. "I wasn't in control.
I'd find a pub at 10am and convince them to let me in." Jack's tumultuous relationship with girlfriend Chloe Brockett reached a critical point when she discovered the pills and disposed of them, threatening to leave him should he acquire any further supplies.
