Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

ITV This Morning viewers get what they expected as hosts issue apology over Sex Pistols' John Lydon

This Morning viewers weren't at all surprised when Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary had to quickly apologise for John Lydon's language.

The Sex Pistols singer appeared live on the ITV daytime show on Monday (May 30). He joined the presenting duo, who are filling in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during the half-term break this week, in the studio, chatting to the pair on the famous sofa.

Alison and Dermot wasted no time in questioning John, also known by his stage name Johnny Rotten, about the production of the biopic series, Pistols, which is due to premiere on Disney Plus this week and he didn't hold back in his disapproval. John did, however, say he would have been 'absolutely' on board with the series if he was given more information and was told ahead of time.
