He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

It looks like Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby could be on their way out of the This Morning studio next year, if predictions are correct.

Bookies are taking bets on whether the pair will leave after a bruising month, which saw public fury over the mistaken belief that they had jumped the queue to see Queen Elizabeth II lying in state.

Holly, 41, and Phil, 60, were falsely accused of jumping the queue to see the monarch lying in state ahead of her funeral, prompting public fury.

The pair and ITV clarified that Holly and Phil attended Westminster Hall in a professional capacity to film a segment for the show and queued with other members of the media, writes the Mirror.
