Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

ITV This Morning correct 'disrespectful' start to the show after fans complained

This Morning viewers were complaining just minutes into the penultimate show of the week over what they found to be a 'disrespectful' start.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were back fronting the ITV daytime show on Thursday (March 31) and had spent the morning before the show celebrating ahead of Schofe's milestone birthday on Friday, which also happens to be April Fools Day.

But viewers were left unimpressed when the show got underway and there was no mention of Tom Parker who tragically died on Wednesday (March 30) after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in 2020.

The Wanted star revealed the news of his diagnosis to fans in October 2020 when his wife, Kelsey, was pregnant with their second child.
