Follow OK! on Threads here: https://www.threads.net/@ok_mag ITV has cancelled The Voice Kids - one of its biggest shows - in a major TV shakeup, it has been confirmed by the channel.The show, which is a spin-off from The Voice, has a star-studded judging panel, comprising of Danny Jones, Pixie Lott, Ronan Keating and Will.i.am.
It saw children sing on stage while the judges backs were turned, and if a judge liked what they heard, they would push a button for their chair to turn round.
The Sun reports that ITV made the decision as talent shows have been on the decline in recent years. ITV confirmed that it is shelving The Voice Kids, but said that The Voice - the adult version - is still going ahead in 2024.
When contacted by OK!, an ITV spokesperson said: "After seven fantastic series on ITV1 and ITVX, The Voice Kids is taking a break in 2024.
