Loose Women viewers were delighted today to see Andrea McLean return to the panel for the first time since she quit 15 months ago.
The Scots TV star was introduced as a very special guest before presenter Ruth Langsford revealed who would be joining them for the afternoon.
Lead panelist Ruth introduced Andrea's return as she said: "Today's guest is no stranger to us, or you at home actually. She spent 13 years and over 1,400 lunch times sitting right here at this desk." Andrea then appeared on screens to chat about new book 'You Just Need to Believe' with Coleen Nolan, Katie Piper and Kéllé Bryan and Ruth, reports Liverpool Echo.She previously announced she wanted to leave the ITV daytime programme in 2020 as she said she wanted to "be brave and take chances."Talking about taking the hot seat in a different capacity than what she was used to on Loose, she said: "It feels really nice actually being a passenger on the bus and not the driver." Ruth added: "It's quite an odd experience, isn't it?" Andrea replied: "It's a bit out of body but it's so nice."Ruth reminded her that the last time viewers saw her on the set she had been very emotional.
She added: "It was your decision to go. Was it brave now that you've done it?"Andrea replied: "Yes. At the time so many people were saying oh what a brave thing to do.
