Alan Halsall's future on Coronation S treet has been hinted at this week, just days before the upcoming I'm A Celebrity final.Alan is best known for his long running role as Tyrone Dobbs on the soap Coronation Street, where he has been a cast member since 1998.
But the actor has taken a break from the show to partake in this year's season of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here. It has now been reported that Corrie bosses offered him a new deal before he left to take part in the show.
Alan is reported to have agreed to stay on the soap opera until the end of next year, reports the Mirror.Hinting at his future, a source told the Sun: "Alan is really loved on Corrie and bosses wanted him to know he had their full support.
The jungle is going to open a lot of doors for him but they wanted to make sure he knows how important a part of the cobbles he is.
