ITV's Epic Gameshow viewers make same complaint as Alan Carr reboots Strike It Lucky

Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow have been left saying the same thing after the comedian hosted a rebooted version of Strike It Lucky.

The original quiz show ran for 13 years during the 80s and 90s, hosted by Michael Barrymore. The updated show saw three pairs of amateur quizzers attempt to navigate their way through a sea of screens as they attempt to bank prizes and avoid the infamous hotspots.

Just one lucky duo are able to reach the final round, with dozens of prizes – including a holiday to Las Vegas – on the line.

But comedian Alan's take on the quiz show left some viewers cold. Taking to Twitter, @lucys_portraits wrote: "Let’s be honest, #strikeitlucky should only be done with @MrBarrymore.
