ITV has responded after Faryal Makhdoom, wife of Amir Khan, claimed she was dropped from Celebrity Big Brother due to her pro-Palestine views.
Faryal, a content creator, said she was told she wouldn't be appearing on the show, which returns next Monday, because of her political posts on social media.
She believed there was an agreement for her to be part of the reboot, but it seems plans have changed. The new series kicks off on March 4 and ITV will soon announce the new cast of celebs entering the famous house for the ultimate social experiment, cut off from the outside world.
Louis Walsh and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu are expected to join, but Faryal won't be among them. In a passionate Instagram post, 32 year old Faryal claimed she's been blacklisted due to her views on the Israel-Gaza conflict and accused the channel of letting her go just over a week before the show starts.
