Crafting mogul and businesswoman Sara Davies has reportedly been snapped up by ITV to front their latest daytime quiz show. The 40 year old mother of two recently wrapped up a 16-episode stint on BBC's The Big Idea Works, but is set to switch gears as she takes the reins of This is Money.Touted as the "fastest quiz on TV", the new show will see contestants race against time to keep hold of the jackpot prize they're handed at the start of the game.

Sara, who made her mark on Dragon's Den in 2019 as the youngest ever female investor, expressed her excitement about the new venture.

She told the Sun: "This show is unlike anything you've seen before - it's full-on, it's exhilarating, and the pressure is real," adding, "It's going to be a rollercoaster of excitement and tension, and I can't wait to see who'll keep their cool under pressure.

Get ready for a make or break adventure, because time really is money!". In a recent casting call, the show's producers were on the hunt for "fun, confident, quick thinking and strategic personalities that can handle the pressure against the clock to take part, and be in with a chance of winning a HUGE cash prize!" Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment at ITV, praised quiz shows as a "staple for daytime" TV and expressed confidence that County Durham-born Sara would "perfectly complement" the channel's existing roster.
