Colleagues of Tony Morris have paid a touching on air tribute to the news reader after his death on Saturday at the age of 57.
Tony had presented Granada Reports, ITV's regional news programme in the North West, where he had worked for 17 years. Last year Tony was diagnosed with kidney cancer and until a few weeks ago the brave reporter had continued to appear in his presenting role.
During Granada Reports on Monday evening, Tony's presenting partner Lucy Meacock spoke out on the loss.
