ITV's Lorraine suffered a huge on-air blunder during Friday's edition of the show. Presenter Christine Lampard, who had stepped in for host Lorraine Kelly, was joined by former Glamour editor Jo Elvin during a fashion segment when the slip up occurred. The pair were showing viewers how to recreate celebrity style on a budget as Jo selected outfits from a string of A-list stars.

Discussing an outfit worn by Helen Mirren, Jo gave a run-down of the estimated cost - which came to an eye-watering £11,510 - and suggested swapping designer items for high street duplicates.

Welcoming model Sharon into the studio, she said: "I’m going to show you Sharon, looking almost the same in something really fabulous." Jo's version, which included clothing from places like Primark and Asda, came to a much cheaper total of £166.

However, when viewers were shown a side by side comparison of the two looks, an image of Amal Clooney in a green dress was used instead of Helen.
