In celebration of Mother's Day, the Princess of Wales shared a photo of herself and her three children, however everything wasn't quite as it seemed.The photo quickly sparked backlash when multiple photo agencies issued a "kill notice" and removed it from their collections stating that it had been "digitally modified" as elements looked as if they had been tampered with.
From Charlotte's hair abruptly stopping at her shoulder, to Kate's jacket zipper not lining up, eagle-eyed social media sleuths also noticed that the Princess of Wales wasn't wearing her wedding ring.
Kate, 42, then released a statement admitting to editing the photo. She said: "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing.
I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day.
