I'm A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec have admitted they were 'disappointed' with campmate Dean McCullough following Tuesday's episode (November 19).The Radio 1 host was chosen via a public vote to take on the latest Bushtucker Trial which was dubbed The Sinister Sarcophagus.

Dean became the first campmate of the series to say the words "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" in order to halt the task, before managing to achieve maximum stars, with each one representing a meal for camp.

Now, Ant and Dec have shared their disappointment in Dean's failure to complete what was also described as the 'easiest task' of the show. The former SM:TV Live presenters made the comments while appearing on the newly revamped companion show on ITV, I'm A Celebrity Unpacked. They were chatting about the events seen in the latest episode alongside Joel Dommett, Sam Thompson and Kemi Rodgers where they admitted they wish the audience at home got to see the full trial.

Dec said: 'We are genuinely disappointed because you are prepared to do the whole trial and you want to see the whole thing. There's a lot of time gone into the trials so when it's called early your like, 'oh.' "But on the other side were like oh bit of an early finish, lets get out and get a suntan." Ant added: That's why we continued to ask him some questions after because we were really enjoying it.' They were asked if it is frustrating for the crew who have to undertake a lot of preparation and at times test out the trials themselves.
