Viewers of I'm A Celebrity were left gobsmacked as tensions appeared to hit a new high in the camp.Presenter Dean McCullogh faced yet another Bushtucker trial last night called Jack and the Scream Stalk, which involved a beanstalk and a castle setup.
Dean had his work cut out for him with 12 stars on the line, doubling as 12 meals for his fellow campmates, which he needed to nab in under 12 minutes.The climb was fraught with peril as he thrust his hands into 'hellholes' whilst scaling the colossal beanstalk.
At the top, Dean's challenge required the assembly of a golden egg before advancing towards the 'castle', precariously perched above the jungle terrain.Mid-trial, Dean confessed to his difficulties with grip and ultimately took a tumble from the wall, sacrificing two stars in the process.
A rather uncomfortable moment ensued when Dean descended to face hosts Ant and Dec post-challenge, reports the Express.After completing the trial and being suspended above the jungle, Dean apologised profusely: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," only to be reassured by Dec not to worry as he had just set his personal record. "That's alright, 10 stars, that's a new personal best," consoled Dec.Returning to the clearing, he was warmly met with congratulations from both Ant and Dec, with Ant even revealing: "You even got a round of applause from us today," leading to Dean's playful response: "Next thing you'll be following me on Instagram."Ant was quick to dismiss the idea with a definitive shake of his head.
