Danny Cipriani, the former England rugby star, has decided not to join the line-up for I'm A Celebrity 2023 following the end of his two-year marriage.

The 36 year old sportsman married Victoria Rose, 42, in a small ceremony in 2021, but recently announced their split. He shared on Instagram: "Victoria and I sat together this weekend and agreed to separate after 4 years of marriage.

Whilst we've had some wonderful times together, we've also recognised we're on different journeys and whilst this is sad news, it's also a new chapter for us both to pursue our own happiness.

I only wish the best for Victoria and her children." Danny was expected to receive a hefty payment for his appearance on I'm A Celebrity.
