Medic Bob has been a familiar face in the jungle since the show started in 2002 and is well-loved by viewers. Yet in the most recent Bushtucker trial – when YouTuber Nella Rose had to pull her emergency cord after thousands of critters were poured into her helmet and MasterChef star Grace Dent discovered a creature in her ear – a medic rushed over to help...
and it wasn't Medic Bob. Fans were quick to take to social media to discuss his strange absence, with one asking: "#ImACeleb where's Bob gone ??
He wasn't there to help grace with her ears!!" Another simply demanded: "Bring back Dr Bob." A third asked: "Where's medic Bob?" A fourth exclaimed: "WHERE IS MEDIC BOB?" Someone else fumed: "Where tf is Medic Bob This is an outrage." Another echoed: "Bring back medic Bob." However, it was announced in 2022 that Bob wouldn't be returning to the show and would be replaced by another medical expert.
