Get Me Out Of Here!, following a public backlash to his participation, and a subsequent dip in ratings.The former UKIP leader, 59, shared that he was shocked at not being picked for the second bushtucker trial, with YouTuber Nella Rose being voted by the public instead.
He told his fellow campmates: "I was ready to do the trial. And so the fact that it didn't come came as a bit of a shock to me in an odd sort of way.
Like this is a bit funny." He then told food critic Grace Dent: "You see, if you do the challenges, it is 25 percent of the airtime.
I'm looking to reach a new audience, sorry to be cynical." Grace responded: "I am absolutely good just being a little ray of sparkle in the back of this television show." Nigel's remarks come after reports suggested that I'm A Celebrity bosses are dealing with a crisis as viewers boycott the show due to his participation.
