Good Morning Britain viewers quickly voiced a recurring gripe just moments into the new episode of the ITV morning broadcast.

Susanna Reid and Ed Balls took charge of a unique programme direct from Washington, D. C, focusing on the US election face-off between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris for the presidential seat.

Yet, the audience seemed unimpressed by the show's deficit of UK news. Venting on X, previously known as Twitter, one viewer wrote: "FFS where's the British news, how many reporters do you need to send to America, enough already."(sic), reports the Mirror.

Another viewer expressed their dismay: "Don't get this much coverage for a UK election, meanwhile - what's the weather over Oxfordshire going to be today?
