Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly took to her Instagram on Tuesday (11th February) to celebrate her "deserved" win for the ITV soap after "25 years" in the industry.

Monday (10th February) night was a huge night in the world of TV as the 2025 TV choice awards took place. In a night filled with glitz and glamour, Emmerdale won big securing awards for "Best Soap" and "Best Newcomer".

The ITV soap kept their crown for "Best Soap" after winning the award last year too, and 2024 saw two former Coronation Street stars Paula Lane and Oliver Farnworth rock up in the Dales to take on new roles.

Major storylines have been tackled during recent months in the village, from Tom King and Belle Dingle's abuse story, Moira's battle with cancer, April's disappearance and Ruby getting justice after her abusive father Anthony Fox was murdered.
