Emmerdale star Lisa Riley appeared on Good Morning Britain and declared that "no one is safe" when addressing the comments around episodes and cast members being slashed from the ITV soap.

The 48-year-old actress first played barmaid-turned-beautician Mandy Dingle on the ITV1 soap opera from 1995 until 2001 and then returned to the part as a full-time cast member in 2019.

Mandy Dingle has become a beloved character in the Dales, and while appearing on Good Morning Britain on Monday (17th February) she admitted that when the time comes for her legendary alter-ego to depart the fictional Yorkshire village, she wants to make sure that it is the "campest funeral" ever.

Lisa added: "I hope it's not very soon but if there's a leopard print coffin, it would be perfect. It would be the campest funeral in soap opera, it really would be!" In recent episodes, Mandy has been involved in the horrific limo crash that has put multiple lives at peril.
