Adele Roberts became emotional on Dancing on Ice, as she received the highest score of the competition so far.The radio presenter, 44, had shared that the show has helped her "reclaim" her body following a battle with cancer that has left her needing a stoma bag.

Her impressive performance on Sunday's show proved popular with the judges, as she received the highest score. However, Christopher Dean was quick to point out that while Adele certainly deserved her high score, professional skater Mark Hanretty perhaps did not, having fallen over during the otherwise impressive routine - something fans were quick to react to.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one fan viewer wrote: "hold the front page. for once it was the PRO that fell over during a routine, it happens though i suppose #DancingOnIce" "Well you don’t normally see the pro falling over. #Dancingonice" added another, while a third penned: "mark they did not gift u with adele roberts for YOUUU to fall #DancingOnIce" And a fourth added: "Oh Adele, she is the most incredible lady, and has the most perfect partner in Mark (who I didn’t expect to have the first fall of the series!!). "Gorgeous choreography and a beautiful performance - my team and my winners for this year, without a doubt #DancingOnIce" It comes after Adele opened up about the disadvantage she faces in the skating competition, as she's had to relearn how to balance now that she has a stoma bag.

Ahead of the show's launch, she said: "Being new to the world of stomas, I didn’t really know what to expect. I’ve realised that Audrey [which she calls her stoma] doesn’t like the ice. "She’s very quiet.
