Dancing On Ice fans have shared their disappointment as a tribute didn't air for one of its former stars who died. It was announced just as the 2022 series of the ITV skating competition began that professional skater Sean Rice had died.

Canadian pair skater Sean, who appeared on Dancing On Ice in 2011 and 2012, passed away on January 14 according to his heartbroken friends.

It was fellow former Dancing On Ice star Frankie Seaman, a close friend of Sean, who shared the sad news on social media.
