ITV Dancing On Ice contestant forced to pull out of new series after injury

Stephen Webb has pulled out of the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice just days after being announced as a contestant for the show.The former Gogglebox star was forced to exit the ITV show after injuring his ankle during training.

It comes after he was announced as the seventh celebrity to join the Dancing on Ice 2024 line-up.A spokesperson for Dancing On Ice said today: "Stephen Lustig-Webb has had to withdraw from the show due an injury he sustained to his ankle during training.

He is still very much a part of the Dancing On Ice family, we will be helping to support Stephen and we wish him well with his recovery."It comes after Stephen admitted he was "excited" and "really nervous" to take to the ice in the new series.

Chatting with Lorraine Kelly on her ITV show, he said: "I'm really excited, really nervous, I just want to get out there now.
